This movie is all about the journey of a man and his son through the burning area known America, after an apocalyptic event. The sky is dark and the weather is cold as it able to crack a stone. And they are there in a journey to the warmer south area, where they also have no idea on what been awaits them in the destination. All they have only a pistol to defend themselves from any threats along the way, clothes they are wearing, and some foods they collect along the way.

This is a nice movie about the struggle of two human whom has each other, and how to protect themselves from the cannibalistic bands around the way with anything they have. Just like its name, the movie is dominantly storied about their adventure on the road and in order to reach the destination. Viggo Mortensen is played the nameless ?man?, and there he has the mission to protect his son and get to south as soon as possible.

Those readers of McCarthy?s book know that the movie has excellently able to bring the best description to their imagination about the story line. However within the violence and darker age it displayed, it?s not really recommended as family entertainment though, unless they have readily to see some corpses and cannibalism scenes in some parts of the movie.
